The German Federal Association for Road Haulage, Logistics and Disposal is the central industry body representing thousands of transport companies and a significant share of freight movement in Germany.
BGL is the original initiator of the Trusted Carrier concept. The idea was first developed more than 15 years ago together with leading logistics operators, with the goal of making trust in transport chains verifiable and scalable.
This origin is critical. It ensures that Trusted Carrier is not an external solution imposed on the industry, but a concept developed from within, based on real operational requirements and long-standing industry challenges.
